Stay at Home Street Party
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of V E Day the Government have suggested that we have a stay at home street party.
Decorate your house in red white and blue and enjoy a picnic in your front garden. (the weather is supposed to be OK)
Some of the residents of Danvers Close have got together and suggested that we might have our picnic between 12 noon and 3 pm and perhaps dress up in red white and blue if you would like to. We will be playing music from the era and having a general knowledge quiz ( not VE Day related)
If you have no neighbours, or your garden is unsuitable, you are welcome to join us socially distanced of course, in Danvers Close.
If you have any questions or suggestions please email Sue Leech at sue.leech1now@btinternet.com
Neighbourhood Watch Members Guide.
The Neighborhood Watch page has a copy of the members guide now added.
This contains some useful advice on keeping the village and properties safe.
Broughton Village Car Park
Following the relaying of a new surface, this is just a reminder that the village car park is available for use off Wykham Lane, just up from St Mary’s House.
Dog Walkers, Please Keep to Footpaths.
We have received reports of the theft of livestock in the local area.
In light of this, the local farmer has understandably made the decision to padlock gates and as such all dog walkers are requested to please not enter the field immediately opposite the village by the Banbury road, whilst there are sheep and lambs in the field.
Your co operation is appreciated.
